EMBRACE THE GRACE

The book of Philemon is a beautiful picture of God's grace, forgiveness, and reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Paul appeals to Philemon to receive Onesimus, his runaway slave, no longer merely as a servant, but as a beloved brother in Christ. Paul even offers to take upon himself any debt Onesimus owes, beautifully illustrating how Christ took our debt of sin upon Himself.
