Has God abandoned Israel? Romans 11 answers with a resounding no. Just as God preserved 7,000 faithful in Elijah's day, He always keeps a remnant. His promises do not expire, and His plans cannot be derailed by human failure.

The fall of Israel opened the door for the Gentiles to be grafted into God's covenant promises. But that is not a reason for pride -- it is a reason for humility and gratitude. The same grace that saved us is the grace that will one day open the eyes of a nation.

We are living in extraordinary times. Rather than wringing our hands, we are called to shine, to share the gospel, and to walk in humility before a God whose faithfulness is beyond comprehension. Let us be awake, grateful, and sensitive to His Spirit.
