Pastor Don has been a Calvary Chapel Pastor for 30 years. He teaches through the Bible verse by verse to maintain a balanced theology and to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. God opened the door for ministry here in Venice when in September of 2022 the Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church retired and asked Don to take the reins. It is his great honor to serve this community in Jesus's name.

"Come now let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;"
(Isaiah 1:18)

Carl and his wife Valerie moved here from Canada and started Calvary Chapel Sarasota in April of 1987. He has been the Senior Pastor from day one and continues to faithfully teach God's Word and lead the flock, to this day. He is a trusted friend and advisor, and we are privileged to have him as an elder.

"I beat my body and make it my slave, lest possibly after I have preached to others I might be disqualified for the prize."

Daniel and his wife Julie of 44 years have served the Lord together since 1979. Daniel served as the Evangelist and then as Senior pastor of Harvest Fellowship in Burnsville Minnesota. They moved back to Florida in 1997 and have been a part of Sarasota Calvary Chapel since 1999.

Amira has been serving side by side with Don for 35 years. They have planted 4 churches and raised 4 children together. They recently welcomed their first grandchild into the fold and look forward to many more!
